Our Story

Two Moms.
Too Much Waste.
One Big Idea.
Dear Friends,
We started Project ReWear because we couldn't unsee what was right in front of us: our teenage kids cycling through fast fashion while perfectly good clothes filled landfills.
We're Kimberly and Linda—one from finance, one from fashion retail. Together, we built a four-channel system: online shopping, our Thousand Oaks store, quarterly WEARhouse sales in Newbury Park, and a partnership with nonprofit Bundles of Kindness to clothe the unhoused. Next? Upcycling and downcycling unwearables.
We track every pound purchased and donated. Real change requires real proof.
Our hope? To build a blueprint and replicate this model across the country.
Thank you for being part of this movement.

Our Mission
At Project ReWear, we believe clothing shouldn’t be disposable. Every item deserves another chance to be worn, loved, and shared.
Our mission is simple: keep clothes out of landfills, make sustainable fashion affordable, and show families the value of preloved style.
Through our circular system — Online, In-Store, WEARhouse, and Community Impact — every piece gets multiple chances to find a home. Items that don’t sell are redistributed through Bundles of Kindness, while unwearable pieces are set aside for future upcycling or downcycling.
We’re redefining what it means to rewear — keeping clothing in motion and creating real impact, one pound at a time.
