Making Secondhand Second Nature

KimLindaSubscribe.jpg

We’re Kimberly and Linda — two moms from different industries who joined forces to fix what fast fashion broke.

Kim spent 24 years in wealth management. Linda built her career in fashion retail and thrifting. Together, we saw bins overflowing with barely worn clothes — and families overwhelmed by the waste. We knew there had to be a better way.

So we started Project ReWear: a mission-first marketplace where every item has purpose — and every shopper helps drive change.

We’re not here to sell hangers. We’re here to shift habits.

What We Believe

Project ReWear was built on the belief that there’s a better way — to dress ourselves, raise our families, and care for the planet.

We believe real change starts with intention — to slow down, buy less, and shop with purpose.

And we believe change begins the moment we stop asking what’s easiest and start choosing what’s right. And we are making what's right, easy.

Our Values

  1. Sustainability

  2. Accessibility

  3. Community

  4. Education

We believe secondhand should feel and be second nature.

The ReWear Ripple Effect

It’s not just about shopping — it’s about shifting perspective.

Project ReWear is where purpose meets practice. It’s not just about resale — it’s about modeling what a low-waste, high-impact fashion system looks like at the community level.

The Living Lab —
ReWear in Action

How It Works:

  1. Rescue quality clothing from going to waste

  2. Revalue it through curation and storytelling

  3. Inspire families to rethink how they shop

  4. Empower action through shopping, volunteering, and sharing

  5. Track real-world impact — pounds saved, minds changed

Our Vision:
To become a national model for circular fashion education — a blueprint for local change through storytelling and sustainable retail.

Take Action

Donate to Project ReWear

Your preloved clothing can go a long way. Donating helps families shop affordably, reduces fashion waste, and keeps quality clothes out of landfills.

Powered by the Community
We’ve saved over 1,200 pounds of clothing so far — thanks to donors like you. To stay mindful, we accept a limited number of donations each month.

How It Works
We buy most of our inventory from thrift stores to rescue last-chance items. Donated pieces are priced lower and tagged separately to honor your gift and our mission.

We Accept

  • Kids’ clothing (newborn to teen)

  • Women’s + men’s clothing

  • Shoes in good condition

  • Accessories (bags, jewelry, hats, belts)

  • Seasonal or special occasion wear

We Can’t Accept (for now)

  • Damaged or heavily worn pieces

  • Underwear or used socks

  • Toys, books, or home goods
